my blast is not very blasty

my m&m blast from Sonic (America's Drive-in) is more like, sprinkled. what should I do? if I go buy more m&ms to put in it I'll have to use my debit card and that would be like so much trouble. and they'd be whole not crushed, and m&ms get real hard in cold icecream and I can deal with crushed but whole ones would be like rocks. I'd have to crush them up and...there's just no way. what should I do? someone please help me
