View Full Version : Not sure if this is the beginning of lucidity, but...

I had some dreams last night that should be up in my dream journal soon, but one of the recurring themes of one of the dreams was something akin to SP. What I mean is that When I was in the dream, I kept trying to lay down and have that feeling of euphoria when you start falling into deep sleep, and it would cause me to have something like a contained seizure, where I would gain information about something.

The reason I think it might've been actual sleep paralysis is because there were times where I referenced the dream as simply being a dream, like when I did this puzzle, I remember thinking how hard this puzzle was for a dream, but at no point did I continue to think about this and take control with the idea. I simply referenced dreaming a lot during the dream.

I think it shows that you are starting to get the concept of lucid dreaming engraved in your subconcious, but it isn't strong enough to actually get you to a lucid dream yet. This happend to me for a while...I still keep dreaming with about lucid dreaming and kind of realizing I am in a dream, and I dream more about my dream signs.

Well I'm definantly not a pro yet but I have to agree.

I had my first LD several nights ago and prior to it i was having dreams about trying to LD and other things like talking about LDing in my dreams. Even though I did have that LD, it wasn't really that eureka moment. What I mean by that is even though I was lucid, I don't think that my subconscious fully knows what that means. I think this because I wasn't that excited and I seemed to just follow a storyline that i had already set out for my first LD.

I hope this helps in some way :?
