The Manchurian Candidate......was....wow :o ....easily in my top 5 movies of all time....it was fantastic...and brought up some valid questions about dreams. I suggest you see it, and post your opinions...and if you have already seen it...than post away....
Nah, The Brave Little Toaster! :D

I saw that movie tonight. It was pretty awesome. Makes you wonder if things like that could happen or are happening right now. I'd give the movie a solid A-.
No. Household appliances cannot come to life. But you're right, The Brave Little Toaster does deserve an A.

Hey thanks, I'll go see it! I don't think I was overly impressed by the previews, though. But that's okay, most great movies have sort of crappy previews.
Yeah, like Mortal Kombat. :|

Check out I robot. It was good. I would've rather seen Manchurian Candidate,or Bourne Supremacy tho.

I'm seeing Bourne Supremacy tomorrow.
I LOVED I Robot!!!! Oh man, I thought it'd just be a regular, robots-are-evil-humans-die type of movie.

You're doing it in the wrong order! You watch the movie first THEN read the book!
That way you can come out of the movie going "Oh wow! They were right! That movie kicked some serious ass!" Then read the book and go "Wow! That kicked more ass than the movie!"
Instead of reading the book first and then coming out of the movie whining like a lil' bitch about how much it sucked. :|
But, Asimov is my hero 8)

No, Aphius is right. Watch the movie first. The movie-then-book plan is sure fire. :)

Anyone see Gataca? Good movie. It's no Brave Little Toaster, but it's good.
And don't you think that toaster should have just forgotten about that shmuck who abandoned him? He was a walking toaster for christsakes! He could have done better...

People who read the book, see the movie, and then complain how it left out a few parts deserve to have their heads crushed in. Then of course there are the braggers who try to inflate their ego by telling everybody they already knew what was going to happen. (Next time you see a movie after you read the book, assume we don't care what you have to say)

Nicely said, Death. ;)
Hehe, :D I'll go to the movies with you next time, Evanescent.
And yes, I love Gattaca too! And I have a thing for Jude Law. Him and his.. balding hair.. *runs away crying*
*comes back a little later* Eh, whatever.

let's set the record straight on I, Robot. The movie was really just hollywood pissing on Asimov's grave for and hour and a half.

Oh PAH who cares??!?
Look. What works in a BOOK is not always going to work in a MOVIE, and vice versa!! You have to understand that, otherwise all book-based movies will be a waste of your time.

I thought it was a great movie and the only reason you hated it was probably because you'd already read the book. :|
Books being made into movies never work out to please the people who've read the book, but the thing is,
We don't care.
Keep it to yourselves, if I liked it why the hell try and ruin it for me...
Like I said before if you didn't want to see something good 'Pissed all over' don't see it. :? Just don't whine like a bitch to me about how much it sucked.
Make your own if you don't like it. :pissed:

If I've already read the books I try to go w/ other ppl who read the books and not expect them to be as good as the books. HP3: didn't expect it to be perfect (and it wasn't), but I was entertained.
BTW: Face Off and Swordfish are the only John Travolta movies I've actually liked. Other than that he's crap in my book.....no offence meant to the JT fans, but Hugh Jackman holds that place in my heart :ohyahbaby:

That movie was just creepy...I mean, didn't Nicholas Cage (with John Travolta's face) have sex with the other's guy wife or something? Owch. Owch. Owch. Very sick crap if my memory serves me correctly.

Nope your all wrong, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is the best movie ever. And it's one of the very veery few movies you'll like more after you read the book. :-P
