Hey,
Weird question but does anyone know of a Disney film which has a female pirate in it?

Pirates of the Caribbean?
Is it a cartoon or a film?
That is a very weird question. I can't remember ever seeing one, but it has been quite a few years since I saw a Disney movie. Why do you ask?

Pirates of the Caribbean is by Disney, and Keira Knightly plays a female pirate in it. Is that what you're thinking of?
It's for a fancy dress party - an no I am not going as a female pirate lol.
I think it is more geared to cartoons though.
not Disney (if that matters)
but Hanna Barbera did a pirate cartoon show in the early 90's
called The Pirates of Dark Water
One of the main female characters was voiced by the same actress who did Ariel in the Little Mermaid

I used to love that cartoon. :cooler:
I didn't know that (Tula) was the voice of Ariel, though. Huh. Learn something new everyday.

I'd hardly call Kiera Knightly a Pirate in those films, first one she was more of the posh snob, second little bit tougher but nope piratey attitude. Now the third one was weird because both her and Orlando completely changed in the little time there was between the two films. Still I wouldn't call her a pirate.

I think the only female disney pirate character there was, was in that space pirate film, umm Treasure planet?

Oh. I dunno. Believe it or not, I've never seen the trilogy. Only the first one. I heard that her character supposedly becomes a swashbuckler, later on in the series...but...:whyme:

How could you not have seen the other 2? :P I thought you knew your films, you disappoint me
Seriously though, the other 2, while decent, do not compare to the first at all.

Haha. I know. It's weird. Every time I hear about them, I'm like..."Why the hell haven't I seen the other two yet? Huh. Oh well, I'll get around to it," and I just never have. Lol.
...I'll get around to it, though. :P

imo, don't bother. The first film is incredible, but the 2nd one was truly shocking, and the third one was confused. Not worth seeing :(

He's looking at the jewels, but she's looking... at his jewels.
