So, I've tried to WILD now a few times. I get really close. But I want this so bad, I'll keep trying for 2 hours some times. Afterward, my legs hurt and feel sick.
Is that normal? Why would your body hurt if SP is same as when you sleep? I think that when your awake it's not the same. The twiching is what takes a toll on my body.
FYI: I'm only 26, so It's not that I'm old why my body hurts. Feels like I was working out the day b4! This happen to you too??? Seems like this would be bad for your body to try every night??? Maybe Trying to hard? pls help:P

You normally aren't awake when the body shuts itself down. If you WILD, then your mind is still awake and getting input from the body. As the body shuts down your brain doesn't know what to make of the sensations that it's receiving. Since the brain perceives it as abnormal it assumes that it's dangerous (don't worry, it's not) and interprets the signals that it's getting as pain. Once you experience it a few more times it shouldn't hurt as much because the mind is starting to get used to ti.

I've had SP where it feels like my jaw is clenching tightly, weird to hear the whole body pain tho. Maybe you're tensing up during?

Yeah you're probably not completely relaxed. It's a pretty easy mistake to make when trying to WILD. Just make sure to check every so often to relax your muscles. You may be surprised to find you tensed up even while you thought you were keeping perfectly still :)

see.. that's the thing, I think I am tensing up. I don't think your foot should move. Does any of your feet move when in SP via WILD? :P

I doubt that you're tensing up, you should be relaxing. As I said, the brain doesn't know what it's feeling so it associates it with something that it does.

It's quite normal to have twitches or small spazms during a WILD attempt.
For me my arms and legs twitch every once in a while if I haven't moved for about 20 minutes give or take.
Nothing bad can happen to you when your WILDing that wouldn't happen to you whenever you go to sleep. The only difference is that you're aware of the trippy sensations. It actually feels really cool for me and I just try to ride with it when ever I attempt a WILD.
Good luck and don't worry. And I also find that whenever I try to relax I ALWAYS relax more.
If you're having real trouble relaxing, do a forum search for the 61-point relaxation technique.
