Hey, I was wondering, should WILDs be painful? When I try to WILD I get extreme pain. Is that just my body testing me?

The only pain I've ever had was my jaw clenching, I guess just make sure you aren't tensing any muscle because I sometimes fine myself doing that.
The only pain I experience is muscle cramps. Damn muscle cramps...

Hmm well i have WILDed a number of times and have been successful about 75% and i have never felt pain. Explain how it hurts and where. It could be that your body is testing to see if your still awake. If you can endure that pain long enough until it subsides your likely to complete the WILD.

It feels like a knife digging into my stomach, slightly to the left, right under my rib cage.
I just tried to WILD (made it to SP for the first time :P) and it didn't happen so I guess it's half and half or on and off.

My guess is that it is your body trying to make sense of what it is feeling: you usually aren't aware when you go into SP so the feeling is strange, and your brain can translate that to pain.
Or so I've heard.

It's always pre-paralysis.

Maybe your body is confused or something, are you new at WILDS?

When I do it, my body feels like it's on fire and hurts. Especially my feet. So I guess you aren't alone.

My heart usually speeds up (a lot), maybe excitement? But I can't recall any pain. Others have said they experience it though, so don't be too worried over it.

Yeah! My feet feel like their on fire!
I figured out that if I uncover my feet and put them above the rest my body (only like three-four inches) it goes away.

Yep. It's also hard to go into SP or WILD because I'm constantly adjusting my position to avoid uncomfortableness or itchiness.

The same stuff happens to me (except pains in my stomach)and always prevents me from doing it. My eyes also hurt when I try to WILD.:?

I find myself tensing up when I think heaviness like get heavy my knees and shoulders tend to move forward with me being unaware until I feel pain from keeping my body down.

Last time I got into SP I got pain in the back of my head/neck, but it goes away once I enter the dream and I don't feel any paint afterwards
