I'm guessing most people will say no, but I exhibit a lot of seasonal patterns in general and it definitely includes my online activities.

First, I spend less time online from May/June through early August, as I'm playing outside :) Also, sometime between August and October I get the gaming itch and reactivate my WoW account, then lose all interest sometime between Christmas and Valentine's.

The rest of the year my interests waver between forums and Second Life, though that has more to do with what's happening and who's around in each, and whether I'm looking more for creative expression (SL) or discussion and debate. Both serve equally well for exploration and entertainment.

How about you? Any patterns/cycles, or is your online activity pretty much the same year-round?

Overall, it's mostly constant, but what I browse seems to be cyclical (sometimes I spend lots of time on DV, sometimes I disappear for a while, etc.)

hmm i'd say, like many people, if the time i spent online every month was recorded i think you;d get the highest times during Winter or my holidays, although less time in the summer holidays then the rest of the year because i love to go rowing as much as possible and it only opens for like 3 1/2 months so i go loads. I'd say it starts to climb again around October( i have a half term holiday then and that's when the gamer in me seems to rekindle:P)

See, I think it's a trend. I know when I start poking my head in WoW in August or September, there'll be maybe three guildies on at a time, then as December approaches, it climbs over a dozen. The guild has even died out completely over the summer and been revived in the fall.
