I love BBC april fools. Radio 4 do fun ones. The other year at about 5AM they were quite seriously talking about the trees teabags grow on. It was great, it wasn't until you woke up propperly you realised that it was utter bull.

I think, if someone was really gullible and didn't realise it was April Fool's day, they would fall for the penguins. Especially because it was in the telegraph this morning.

Wow, nice commitment there on the digital effects, very real looking. Even if they weren't flying penguins, the execution of the whole thing (not to mention the simple fact that they wouldn't go out and be like "HEY EVERYONE GUESS WHAT WE FOUND") screams april fool's. But really cool, anyways.

Pretty good, but I think they overdid it with this:
BBC1 viewers will see the penguins not only take flight from the Antarctic wastes, but fly thousands of miles to the Amazonian rainforest to find winter sun.
