Alright, so I thought maybe I'd be a bit lenient when it came to something like this, but really it's gone on much longer than I'd like. At first I thought it was just a friendly joke Kromoh was playing on me but as the PMs and emails went on things just got more serious, and I'm tired of it. You're probably wondering what I'm talking about... well, yours truly has been being frequently harrassed by Kromoh for the past month and a half or so, and it's starting to piss me the fuck off. :furious:

I didn't want to say anything cause I like the kid and was gonna give him another chance - I even sent him warnings to stop but he ignored them. Then I saw this in SB recently and it shocked me, because if I wasn't the only one he was doing this to... :wtf:


Banned for coming on to me, we have strict regulations regarding sexual harassment you know.

If it really hurts that much the prospect of a completely harmless message by someone who will never ever be able to contact you other than through the internet and will realistically never physically be in your presence, not to mention you can simply ignore them, delete their messages, etc., if that hurts that much, than just pretend it's a woman sending you the message :P. And even if the text you feel is so disconcerting (or pictures are being sent), just privately request him to stop and otherwise take it up privately with an admin. No reason to tell everyone. You know, the reason that all these prank threads are failing miserably is because they are all based off some sort of fake fight or hate between members. I remember in the past April Fools jokes used to be funny. I am not sure if you guys were clued in, but an April Fools Joke is part fools, part joke. That is, the "funny" should be in there. Having huge "prank" fights were people are pretending to have intense passionate hate for each other is not funny... especially when one of the parties is not aware. Furthermore, even when both sides know about it, it just breeds hate and creates strong (negative) emotions. I mean, I am very confused. After people yell at each other, swearing and insulting, and then you say "Haha, just kidding," are we supposed to say "wow, you got me, that was hilarious." Because it isn't. I don't mean to be offensive or anything but that's just how it is. As I said, in the past our april fools jokes were funny... because they were based off light-heartedness and just general sillyness. No one was meant to get hurt (or should I say, people getting hurt was not a major impetus within the joke). This is what makes a joke funny. Again, you obviously misinterpret. Simply fooling people did not mean it succeeded. And as I said, even when both parties know about it, it generally generates animosity amongst others. Yeah, making clarity cry was such a success. And others getting very angry when certain members are "pretending" to be fight... oh, hilarious. Just because it fooled people doesn't mean it was not an epic fail. If I had someone call your house and tell you your dad died, waited until you cried and broke down, then said "April Fools!"... well, oh boy, that would definitely be a success because I fooled you... not. Remember April fools jokes involve fools, but also jokes.

And I am sorry hat you feel that I have a "stick in my ass," it's simply that if you are going to try to have fun with April Fool's joke, don't base them on pretending to hate others and such. It never leads to anything good. In the end people are simply relieved that it is not true (soldier, for example, shows what I mean) after spending their time being disconcerted over something, and others are more victimized, such as clarity. And even if this one didn't necessarily result in anything bad, you can't pretend that others' have gone well (or been very funny, at any rate).
