Take a look at the video:

Do you think something like this will catch on elsewhere? Looks pretty cool... dunno how much I like the idea of a computer at your table, though. Are we reaching an age where we literally won't be able to escape our emails, text messages, etc?? :P Where do we go for refuge? Ahh!!

Who will we shout at when we realise that our orders are wrong?

Does this mean we don`t have to give tips anymore?

You'd probably have to plant your bum onto the rail and be whisked off into the kitchen.

Does this mean we don`t have to give tips anymore?

Yes! That was the last thing said in the video. But I'm sure the price of things in this restaurant make up for it. :boggle:

Maintenance fees :P? Tips are actually included in the bill in Germany, but they don`t tell tourists so that they end up overpaying >_>...

The whole point of a restaurant is human interaction and atmosphere, i.e. feeling like you're the king and actually seeing some guy in a funny dress bring you food.

Better restaurant idea from Germany, actually in my hometown I think, is the free restaurant: You just order whatever you want and pay whatever you want.

Tips are actually included in the bill in Germany.No. :P

Well yes according to restaurants in Munich :P.I don't count Bavaria as belonging to Germany. Germany and Bavaria are firmly divided by what has come to be known as the Weißwurst-equator.

Funny, because I know many Germans living in Munich who claim to in fact live in Germany... not to mention cia factbook, wikipedia, and other actual authorities claim Munich to be in Germany. Check out a world map (www.youfail.com)

Yeah, I guess you'd have to use the computer at your table to just look up some pictures of cute waitresses or waiters. Or some porn. OR BOTH.

^Now that gives me a good idea on a reason for them to hand out condiments for a change...

Do the computers bug the shit out of you and interrupt your conversation every three minutes, or do they make you go twenty minutes without a drink refill?
