I don't see an incision or any shaved areas on the cat which shows it was sedated for surgery...

That's what it said on the Youtube description.
I think around :50 I see a pink spot near the left side of the belly.

Yeah, I caught that too.
The best part is the cat doesn't seem to upset about it; I'm sure its having a great time just figuring out what the hell is going on.

hmm, I still don't see anything. Any surgical site is going to be really shaved and obvious. It's like with surgery for people, they have to shave a large spot with good margins around the site to prevent contamination from hair.

I dunno... :?
Maybe the cat was given sedative/tranq for another reason, but it doesn't seem to be for surgery...

lmao!
oh well, it's only funny if it was actually a vet administered sedative, not actually intentionally made drunk

Oh come on; it sounds like you are being a bit over protective and paranoid. The camera never shows the cats stomach at all, except for that tiny glimpse at :50. It seems to me that if the only glimpse you can see of its stomach at all shows a pink spot, it probably would be pretty apparent if you actually got a good look at it.
Edit; actually, at :35 you can briefly see that its entire belly is shaved. Also, I'm no expert, but it looks to be about the perfect age to get spayed.

You guys must be watching a different video than me because I don't see any shaved belly, sorry. I see fur hanging down, in which case the belly is not shaved.
So what if I'm being paranoid? I've seen one too many "cat on acid" threads on this forum not to be paranoid.
