The download says it makes my computer boot up and shut down wicked fast and also does some other thigns which I dont' understand... what does it do?

PS: My dad did a search for spyware and stuff for them and nothing came up...

Probably a waste of time (or money - if you have to pay). The solution to long boot up times is to:

A) Delete old crap.
B) Defragment.
C) Not turn off your computer if possible.

Well it's free... and 3 seconds is pretty fast. I think my computer needs to turn off once in a while just to cool down. And why is it a waste of time? If it just messes up my computer of course I don't wanna do it, but I have plenty of time. I defragment my computer and delete stuff all of the time but it doesn't help make it boot faster, it takes about 3 or 4 minutes to boot...

3 seconds is pretty fast. But I've never seen a real (ie: with quite a bit of hardware) computer boot up in less than 30 seconds. The fastest I've seen is probably 7 seconds, with a enteriely new formatted drive and the bare minimum amount of hardware in it.

However, if it does happen to perform any miracles to your computer please tell me.

The waste of time would be the time it takes to download and configure. Is your computer old? I've never seen a computer take that long to load. Or do you have any funny boot up programs that you don't need?

Like my old one, which takes damn ages. Like 5 mins. Seriously. Woah.

Anyway, I don't really recommend that unless you're getting a new PC soon anyway. If you insist on doing this, back up your files onto CD first.
