I know Brandon is a Lucid Dreamer so I was wondering if there is a connection between the music, the fans, and Lucid Dreaming?

AH, HELL YES!!! incubus is the best band to ever cross the face of this planet, and the universe for all i care
they are so great...i have a loss of words because of the astonishment that haunts me when trying to describe them, because they are so amazing
my interest in incubus all started when one of my best friends talked about them all the time and person after person told me i actually looked like BRANDON BOYD himself...and that was enough, i am obessed with the band, and i love brandon himself...
THE REASON I GOT INTO LUCID DREAMING IS BECAUSE OF HIM!
i read an interview that started it all...here is the link...
http://www.dcsi.net/~bluesky/incub82.htm
again, incubus is the best band in this whole universe, none has ever come close to them, and this is all my opinion, i know some would beg to differ...
but i seriously do believe they are amazing, and brandon boyd is an amazing guy...and again, the reason i got involved with lucid dreaming...and the reason i am here
KAPOW! your the human magic marker, won't you please supprise my eyes[/b]

I am pretty big fan. Maybe not as fanatical as LS :D but big none the less. My favorite of all time would be Stone Temple Pilots. Scott Wieland's Lyrics are amazing.

i love the way brandon boyd writes...his lyrics are so great...
but yah if you would happen to notice, at the end of every post i leave a quote, and 75% of them happen to Incubus quotes :D :D :D
cheers.

A CERTAIN SHADE OF GREEN
its about the end of the world as we know it in DECEMBER 2012
its interesting, because thats when all the ancient civilization's calenders end or something crazy like that, and more!

I don't understand why there's such a big fuss about Incubus. They're an ok band but as far as Modern Day Geniuses go, they really aren't anywhere close. Muse urinate on them from a great height :D Now there's a group of talented musicians.

I've tried getting into their music, a load of my friends are into Incubus in a big way. They just don't do it for me on a major scale. Like I said, Muse, Oh man, there's a band (although their newer stuff is kinda disappointing). Matt Belamy far outstrips Brandon in my opinion.

I wish I had been on this thread since the beggining.......
Anyway, not much I can say about the band I haven't said before....
Only that I agree with LC and I do love Brandon Boyd, as a person, for his lyrics and his personality are really really exepcional, and not something you see everyday.
I liked their new album, but, just so you know, science is really my thing. That is my favorite album after Scenes from a memory(dream theater) and I love each and every song in that album. My favorite songs would have to be vitamin, favorite things and new skin. Perfect in everyway....
I know only LC will probably be able to post this now, hopefully someothers too, but lets post our favorite 3 songs from each album:
Enjoy Incubus/Fungus Amongus: You will be a hot dancer, speak free, take me to your leader
S.C.I.E.N.C.E: Vitamin, Favorite things and new skin
Make Yourself: Out from under, Pardon me, Privilege
Morning View: Under My Umbrella, Just a phase, Warning
CLOTM: Priceless, Megalomaniac, Talk Shows on mute
Lowercase Society
03-21-2004, 04:12 AM
I love them all.
but if you force me to go through with this excruciating task i shall.
Fungus: You will be a hot dancer, Hilikus, Take Me To Your Leader
SCIENCE: Vitamin, Redefine, New Skin
Make Yourself: The Warmth, Drive, Make Yourself
Morning View: Just a Phase, Wish You Were Here, Aqueous Transmission
CLOTM: Megalomaniac, A Crow Left of the Murder, Agoraphobia
*tip* Try meditating with the songe AQUEOUS TRANSMISSION on loop...its amazing.....*orgasm*
