I usually try to find something interesting for the whole family.
This past summer we took a 12 day road trip that included:
Missouri-Saint Louis Arch and Zoo
South Dakota-Badlands/Mt. Rushmore/CrazyHorse/Wall Drug/Corn Palace
Minnesota -Mall of America
Illinois - Field Museum/Museum of Science and Industry/Sears Tower
Ohio - Cedar Point/Montgomery Inn
I guess where I really want to go is the Angkor region of Cambodia!
And Austrailia

to a different plain of reality...perhaps complete lucidity for days on end...hell yah, thats a perfect vacation.
I'm sick of painting in black and white, my pen is dry, now I'm uptight, so sick of limiting myself to fit your definition.[/b]

hmm...don't really care, as long as I'm in a place where there is a music store with REAL METAL (not just linkin park crap) then I'm happy. so far I'm not happy.
I live in arkansas. most stores with CDs put linkin park in METAL. I want to puke. they never have anything good either...*sigh*

I go to Japan every other summer, I was raised there for two years when I was a totler. It's really beautiful in the country and busy in the city... love it there, it's so diverse :D

Japan would be cool! You are lucky! I've been trying to get the place I work for to send me to China for about 4 years now. No luck :(

The olympics are in BEIJING in 2008, have them send you over there then or something, or before to \"set up\" or something like that... just a suggestion

A co-worker was just sent over there for a one day meeting. Flew in, 6 hours sleep, meeting, flew out.
It's about a 20 hour trip from where I live if the connections line up right!
Man, he was wiped out!
Guess I'll have to go on my own dime...
From what i understand, airfare is the biggest expense. I know someone that is going next year and staying in a 4-star hotel for $60 a night. However, he is staying in an out of the way place down near Vietnam
