Just out of curiousity, how did you all come to choosing your usernames? Mine's the Japanese words rakkanteki "hopeful/optimistic" and musouka "dreamer", FYI.
Edit: Lately, I've been experimenting with different pics for my sig -- I had one like my avatar, but I wasn't happy with it, so I've been trying to find something a little bigger. Yeah, the first one I tried out after ditching the little gif was super-big ^_^;; I've since changed it. The thing is, I can't seem to find one that's of great quality but also within the size and KB limits...

about 4-5 years ago when i was in 6th grade i used to stay up so late and i was sorta into animals at that time so i came up with "nightowl" This username has stuck onto me for years and for some reason i've always like it. *shrugs*
EDIT: O_O HOLY JEEBUS! that is one HUGE signature.

 Yah you need to make your sig a lot smaller. There's actually gonna be a rule about that.. When? Well, he didn't say. :P
Anyhoo, I was about 11 and was talking to someone online, and I tried to spell the word "squiggly".. and misspelled it terribly. Everyone laughed about it for a while, so it stuck.
people call me ja cuz its cool and it mean juvenile alcoholic =)

Well, my user name is really nerdy, but wombats are simply the coolest animals in the world, honest.
Look at it, look at its claws. He's mean, he'll take you down anytime. Honest.
And he's eating grass, he's a mean sucker alright.

Khronos
08-19-2004, 03:48 PM
It's funny you should ask... I got mine perhaps by fate.
I looked through some ancient mythology sometime ago and found that name Khronos (Chronus, Kronos, etc). I used it for about a month and later went back to find out the meaining... Listen to this:
Khronos - The God of Time Creator of Existance
(Khronos is the biggest entity, its partner is Inevitability)
It just so happened that my main interest was on understanding existance, could this be a sign? :o
dreamscape
08-19-2004, 07:42 PM
Well I started with specialedd101 which is from special ed of crank yankers. I had that one for awhile and even bought it here but then i changed it to dreamscape well because......um i really don't know why i changed it.

Plus I do like videogames a lot,a nd really dont play them anymore...so its gameover for me.

WerBurN
08-20-2004, 02:46 AM
im boring...my real name is actually Werburn...a long time ago i was trying to create a name online and my friend said 'jus use your real name, nobody will have it...' so i did, but i thought it wasnt internety enough, so i capitalized the W B and N...making it WerBurN...unfortunately this makes many people see Burn as a seperate word and makes them want to capitalize the W and B only....GRRRR
...lol, i remember, when i was in third grade, my teacher was going down the attendence for the first time...she thought my name was mispelled...she was like "...Webbur? Weever? Wilbur?" and i was like "its pronounced where-burn" and she got all pissed at me, and refused to believe i could possibly have a name like that, and continued insisting it was misspelled...i had to get my parents in there to verify that it is in fact "where-burn"...after that she always just reffered to me by my last name...lol, silly old prude

Negaigoto
08-20-2004, 03:57 AM
Negaigoto {Japanese}: wish, dream, prayer, one's desire
Never be afraid to make a wish, dream forever, don't forget God, and desired by one, if that makes sense. I'm somebody, I'm nobody, anybody, everybody, but hopefully always loved by somebody.

Khronos: How nice of you to choose the name of the man that ate all of his mother's babies and is now locked in the fiery pits of hell for all eternity. :) That's how the greek story goes.

i came up with mine when i was just a wee lad... i'd always use it on my videogame files and such then. to come up with it i took the initials of my name and my full last name and changed them into a new, hip 8) username! My initials are CCH, the Hawk is derived from my last name.

Wooooooooot!!! :D :D :D Beatles are my all time favorite band. And they're special cuz I sort of "discovered" them on my own at a young age.. none of that "Well, since the cool people are listening to this music, I guess I'll go buy their CDs" played a part. ;)

Taosaur

One night I was crashed on a friend's floor, letting my thoughts wander, right on the edge of sleep, and I was struck by this huge vision, this non-linear idea complex that just burbled out of my mind. I couldn't turn on the light without waking someone up, but I had a new notebook close at hand with a pencil, so I grabbed it and scrawled down one word in the dark to remember my vision--TAOSAUR

You still can't say it. By the sound of it, you're also still constipated. Who is Agony Aunt Agatha? Is she one of those columnists who insecure people write to tell half the country their problems?
