Hey all, just saw this old animation on YouTube:

Gives you a bit to think about, and it's really well done, too:) It's a bit weird, but I love weird animations with a point ^^

That was wonderful!!

But a bit sad aswell :( Especially the last scene where he sits in the white office and gets sad when he take of the goggles and find himself back in the dull city.

I thought that he when he took off the glasses he realized that he turned into what he hated. Wasn't that him being the new foreman?

I thought it was about him losing himself in ambition...the symbolism of the children being true to themselves by playing on the mary go round at the end was supposed to be him seeing that he wasted his life on foolish ambition to see that hapiness comes from the inside and not the external.

Yeah that's a pretty good way of saying it! :)

Yeah I think it was, but you also see himself open up his oven thing only to find that it has burned out and is now totally empty, then he proceeds to the window where the animation zooms into the playground with the children playing, so I also think there's some truth to what Sandform is saying. Maybe it's a mixture of both :D
