How can I attain lucidity when I am polyphasic sleeping. I am on the everyman schedule and of course I can't WILD (to my knowledge at least), DEILD, or WBTB. So what can I do to attain lucidity?

I really have only had one really short lucid dream and I really want to have more but I am just hoping that i am not throwing away any chance of doing that by doing polyphasic.

Hmm, So what techniques can I use to attain lucidity during my cat naps and core naps?

WILD seems attainable. If you are on Everyman, then your body should be trained to fall asleep basically as soon as you begin your short naps. If you can hang on to awareness as your body falls asleep, this could be an excellent opportunity for a WILD.

hmm thanks! So is their anything I can do specifically to help me do it. During my polyphasic naps. My problem....since I am polyphasic is I fall asleep way too fast. Since my body is craving REM so bad the moment I even touch a pillow I am gone.

I am just wondering if I wake myself up halfway through my core nap would it has the same effect that other people get with their sleep.

aceofspades, I don't know anything about polyphasic sleeping but you might want to check out the threads (or post your questions) in the Alternative Sleep Patterns forum: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=50. You might get responses in that forum.

Maybe you should use that in your advantage, I think VILD should be a nice method if you sleep fast or HILD.
Look at it from the bright side, sleeping multiple times in a day means that you have more chances to practise :D.

Hmm the HILD method looks fascinating and i might try it.but yea i did do VILD once but usually when i do VILD i either fall straight asleep or dont wake up.

what about EILD? Would that work. I guess it might considering i fall asleep so fast.

PS: I tried clarity's WILD but I just fall asleep way too fast.
