our new server

Our new server provides me with complete control over all software installed (i.e. I have root access), which is awesome! It's been about 5 years, though, since I've run my own Apache HTTP server or database server, so I'd imagine I'll have to relearn some stuff and play with the settings to get things running properly here. So far it seems to me everything is faster (and it should be given the new server). Please let me know of any anomalies or problems...again, I may have to adjust some settings.

Just in case anyone wonders what we've got now with the new server:

- 100 GB bandwidth (we had 40 before)
- 10 GB storage (we had 800 MB before)

Thus we've now got plenty of bandwidth to play with. I'll be adding an unobtrusive banner to the bottom of the forum soon and any proceeds from that will go to getting us a true dedicated server (with 500 GB bandwidth/month).
