View Full Version : My dream sign + questions.

After dreaming for so long and thinking I had no dream signs, I finally found one: tornadoes. I can think of at least three dreams where I'm trying to escape from an unseen tornado (I know it's big, but I never see it - just fear); and my other two (one last night) where I'm walking down the road by my house and a little tornado forms. They're like the width of a grapefruit and I start running thinking they'll grow into a huge one. Last night I was running my hand through one and it felt icy cold.
So how do I use this to attain lucidity? I guess I need to do some training or something. Also, are dream signs often something we fear? I guess I fear tornadoes, but I rarely think about it.

Just before going to bed think about your dreams, and convince yourself to remember tornados. and in time when you see a tornado in a dream realization should hit you like a brick.

I grew up in Illinois, and so had a healthy fear and respect of Tornado's.
I was still afraid until a while ago when I became lucid one night and flew into a couple of them just to see what would happen! Now, whenever I encounter one, either Lucid or not, I play with them!
My primary dreamsign is running my car off of a cliff. I cannot prove it, but feel that the big adrenaline rush I get from the fear of that triggers lucidity in me. Something to think about.

I used to be really scared of tornadoes - I mean pure fear, but not so much anymore. We do have tornadoes here in Minnesota; it's not tornado alley though. I'm more afraid of the destruction they bring. They fascinate me. I'd like to see one, but more like out in a field far away from my house and family.
It doesn't occupy my daily thoughts at all though. It's funny how the things I do in dreams and the people in them are often the things I least think about. The night I had my one lucid dream was a bad day for me, and I didn't once think about lucid dreaming.
