Ok, I just recently found out about Lucid Dreaming and love the idea. I have already ordered EWLD, and waiting for it with excitement. I am trying to start off by building my dream recall because I don't have much of one. My problem is that I tried setting my alarm clock 4.5 hours into sleep every night, but when I wake up, I try to remember a dream, but no dream can be remembered. I did this the past three nights, and no dreams yet to remember. I have tried 3 hours, 3.5 hours, and 4.5 hours but no dreams=(... Any suggestions?

That's unusual.... Try it from the other end.

Set the clock .5, 1, or 1.5 EARLIER than the time you normally get up.

For example, if you get up at 6, set the clock for 5. Most people dream more in the 3 hours before waking than all night

Thanks, I'll try that..

BTW, right now I usually get sleep from 11:30-8:00, right now at least...

Thanks!,
I can't explain how excited I am about this. When I stumbled upon this website the other day, I was in awe. I believe I can teach myself to have some extrordinary (sp?) dreams. There has always been things that I wish I could do including supernatural things, and never had the chance. Now, I have that chance and cannot wait for the many experiences to come.

No suggestions from here, as lucid dreaming is something that just happens for me (and I'm trying to learn to control it). But, welcome to the forum, from someone who's only slightly less new than you.
