You almost exploded?
Whatsup with all the sorta semi depressed revelations everyone seems to have nowadays?
Is it suddenly fashionable to realise that life is finite, and that usually most of it sucks?

Yeah thats it. Hope you dream of something and then everything will be better.
You cannot just rely on your dreams to bring you comfort or answers, you have to do something about it yourself. :|

there's still lots of good things about.
friends and family?
having a laugh?
nature?
i have to sit in a boring old office doing boring old work - i'd do anything to be back at school again.. i even study in my spare time 'cos i want to learn more.
i used to suffer from bleak/black days, but one day i woke up and thought 'whats the point of being a grump all the time - if this was my last day on earth and i was to die tomorrow, would i want to spend my last hours being a grumpy miserable sod with a dull bleak outlook on life.' i mean, how crap is that??

Well, I am going through a weird time right now, like yesterday was a "good" day like now that I think about it... it might have been the first time since June 11th of last year were I was really truly happy. Well, after my mom died I guess I kind of bottled it all up and forgot about it but every now and then some leaks out. It’s funny because i completely realize what happened but still say I don’t believe it. Um... this mourning sucked... felt depressed and this is a word I HATE to use but I think it’s the truth. O well thanks for listening.

Donnie Darko, huh? I watched that with my boyfriend...it's pretty cool actually, though totally deep and kind of creepy. But good. Totally inspiring. Really makes you think.

Do you really want to be responsible for someone else seeing Requiem for a Dream? They may not thank you for it.

Are you serious... i hope not. If the media influences you like that AGAINST YOUR WILL then you should lock your self in a barn (that has no electricity batteries ect)

I've never seen any of this, but the title on your topic pulled me in.
My god! How true that is. There is perhaps nothing more personal than your own death. It is a lot like lucid dreaming in that it is so private.
One minute, you are with friends or family. The next, you are isolated from them.
