He's a beta male and I'm gonna keep him at work on my desk. I wanted to name him Aphius, but since Aphius is a dead stinky fish, I thought better of it. Plus, if I say to someone: "Oh! Aphius ate some of his own poop today at work!" Then, well, that's how rumors get started.

Anyway, here he be:

I was thinking of something more along the lines of cool Shakespearean names, or mythological names. Something really majestic.

hrm. pimples? buckles? skittles?

anything with an 'les' at the end...just sounds cooler.

shakespeare eh? how about 'Rosencrantz?' i've always found that name amusing. perhaps that's because someone crossed it out and replaced it with "RottenCrotch" in my copy of Hamlet. ah, memories...

All 6 of my cats are named after how they look, and their character traits (whitey, brownie, waggy tail, roadmap, etc.) I'd probably just name it blue, or notice something pecular that it does and name it after that.

I still think the name BBCode would have pwned.

you should name your fish something cool, like 'brujo', 'maton', 'chingon', or maybe 'robocop'...

i named my old hamster 'knuckles' 'cause of his cute little hands/feet, and it's also a reference to the frankie knuckles, the dj.

i liked that better than naming him zeus, vishnu or something... ;p :)

I'd call him 'Depressed'
Reminds me of that record of the strangest christian name - Depressed Cupboard Cheesecake
Some 'orrible parents called their child that
Was right behind the name 'Balls'

Personally, my siamese fighters always look like they die of boredom. They peg soon after. They apparently aren't supposed to..... but yeh.. tell that to the floaters..

DCA, you need some serious help with that... :D However, I am proud that you have 6 cats! Whoever I marry can have as many dogs as I have cats and no more.

-Amé

Note: I have a cat back home named Monica but more often than not I just call her "Brat" or "Sweetie" or "My Precious".... stuff like that.

And Ophelia, ya should'a named it Hamlet... It looks smart and depressed (blue).... I'm also a huge fan of that play, so that could have influenced my decision.
