Let's say if we wanted to build something that cost loads of money but would save lives. Whats the point in exactly paying if it saves lives? It would be easy for mankind to easily get the resources without paying. I mean we technically own the earth.
Any thoughts, questions, criticisms pleaz reply :)

Well people aren't going to give away what resources they have for free. Even if it's to save lives.

It's simple as that. Money makes the world go round.

Haz, I think you're raising a good point. With our current system, no one except the very kind would be willing to spend a lot of their time on a life-saving machine. However, if communism was dominant then maybe things would work out.

I remember what they said on somethingawful once. "This guy has some sort of communist game where everybody comes out a loser."

I guess somethings will always be a mystery to people. We'll probably never know if aliens exist, why we are here etc. i guess we'll just have to live life the best we can. :) Oh well.
Wait a minute why am i talkin about this. Hmm that will probably be a mystery.
