I really want to pick back up lucid dreaming, but i have a hard time loosing sleep to WBTB, which is the easiest method for me, especially now during school.

does anyone know any good methods in the midst of the school year?

It depends. Are you actually sleeping during class?

Well, if you go to bed earlier you won't lose sleeping time.
You could also WBTB for shorter times, some people only get up for 5 minutes.
Or try other techniques.

I worked on my dreaming during the last school year. Be sure to avoid stress, it can mess up your dream recall. And develop efficient work habits so that you spend as little time on school as possible. You will have enough time for dreaming if you want to!

When I WBTB I only get up to urinate then I go back to bed and just think about LD'ing and vision my self LD'ing. Then I vision my self seing a dream sign and doing a RC and becoming aware of that I am dreaming in different day dreams until a fall asleep. And that increases my chance of reconising that it's a dream and doing a RC.

It works great for me. If I stay up for an hour I won't be able to get back to sleep anyway...

I have a bit of trouble finding time to write my dreams down in the morning, but that's about all. I do WBTB's only on the weekends, and then focus on trying to WILD during naps on weekdays.

It really is a challenge to work on Lucid dreaming while dealing with HW late into the night and having to wake up early for school, so I have to get most of my crap taken care of early in the day.

DILD I guess. You don't lose any sleep. Start doing RC son!

Personally, I just rely on DILDs and lose no sleep during the semester. Keep a DJ as best you can, reality check throughout the day, and you will still have lucid dreams. The hectic life at school is a good time to build up prospective memory, so that makes it even better for MILD. Use this on conjunction with regular RCing, that's my advice.

I used to twitch when sleeping in school, I realize that thats just my body seeing if I'm awake now, hopefully I can somehow captalize on that. The twitch is pretty big though because when u sleep on a desk your in a pretty akward / tense position.
