I had kind of weird reality check last night. Instead of doing something like flying or looking at a watch i run towards a mirror and jump inside Well you can say that is a stupid reality check but i dont thing that you can really confuse the dream world with reality. I think that it's kind of obvious when its a dream and i just have to prove it to myself. I had only three lucid dreams but in all of them i just recognized the texture of the dream world. After that i did a reallity check but by that time i was allready lucid. Do you really think that their is such a thing as a dangerous reallity check? :?:
P.S: i wrote the thread because i red "dangerous reality checks"

I cannot be a lot of help here, since I was the author of that thread.
The danger begins when the boundary between your waking and dream realities begins to get a little fuzzy.
There have been many dreams where I was sure I was awake. Also lots of people here have talked about filling out their journals during false awakenings.
There have been many days where I was sure I was dreaming and performed reality checks all the time.
Since you are able to recognize the dream texture, you are probably safe.
But be sure before jumping into any mirrors, or off of balconies. :)

I will keep an eye on that because it would be a bad way to prove me wrong :)

If we do not hear from you in a while, we will know what happened :)
Seriously though, running my car off the side of a cliff is one of main dreamsigns.
I caught myself last Friday thinking about whether I should purposefully wreck my car...

OK, I'll drive carefully!
Do the Greeks drive as wildly as the Italians? Or those in southern France?

i remembered seeker's thread during a LD, (posted in LD forum) and became really cautious because i was on top of a very tall building and contemplating jumping to the next roof. I actually did a reality check on my watch first before jumping just to be safe, it was really neat. :D

Well i have been only in Croatia but i' m quite sure that here in Greece we have very wild drivers(that's a nice way to call them :) ). I heard that in other countries the cars are stoping if someone wants to cross the road
There's allso a lot of @%*# $#%@ :pissed: :help: :furious:  :sniper: but after so much time here i find it quite entertaining since i dont get angry easily :)
