unread posts working properly now :)

Has anyone else noticed within the last day or so, that unread/read posts are now working like they should be?? By that I mean that when you come back to the site, only new threads since your last visit are marked as new instead of every thread under the sun being marked as new. cool beans :)

I think I spoke too soon. Does not seem to be working anymore and is back to the way it was prior to a few days ago. bummer.

I think the "Mark all forums read" link can help you with that. If you only want to see wich posts is new after last login, click that link right before you decide to log out. (You will find that link just below the Adoptions forum.)

it's supposed to keep all threads marked as 'unread' until you read them (or click the 'mark all topics read') link; a mod was installed to accomplish the keep-marked-as-unread status of posts a long time ago.

just a note though that i have it set to only keep 1000 unread posts + all new posts marked as unread.
