If I were to take 125mg of Vitamin B6 once or twice a week should that be okay? Like, I've read on Wikipedia that in a study people took 200mg/day and it took a month to develop any sort of nerve damage. Plus, I don't think 125mg once a week should do much harm at all.
Opinions, please? :)

Hi there, I've just started taking Choline & Inositol tablets which I've bought from the UK health outlet Holland & Barrett. These come in bottles of 100 tabs and are 250mg each and the stated dose is 1 to 3 tabs a day. I had good recall on my first night too and generally more vivid dreams that were in colour also.
For the US and Canada there seems to be the same company operating under a different name, namely, Vitamin World, check them out. They have the same tablets at 250mg but the dosage is between 1 to 5 a day instead of 1 to 3 so I'm not sure why that is but it must be ok if that's what it states on the label.
Personally I'm just going to try 2 a day because it'll last a lot longer and my recall is pretty good already, but I'm more interested in whether my dream content or vividness increases due to these tabs, I'll post back here if there's any side effects though.
Oops! I forgot your main point though about 125mg a week. There's probably no point doing that as the dose is so small that you'll probably only notice any difference if any on the very night you take them.Might be good as a WBTB supplement though once you wake up in the early hours.

I didn't notice much the night I did take 125mg but the day AFTER I took it, my dream vividness and recall was boosted from having a bad patch of remembering nothing and having super hazy dreams to recalling everything and the dreams were super-sharp

Do you think that, once taking these pills for a few months on ascheduled basis (and assuming that they are working) will you have difficulties recalling dreams AFTER you have stopped taking them?
I'd much rather remember naturally if Im going to have problems if I stop taking these pills.

Sorry for the late reply :roll:I don't think you'll have any difficulty recalling dreams even after several months of use. I've only been taking mine for a few weeks, but I've missed a few days when I should have taken them and my recall was still very similar. I'm kind of getting round to the idea that the placebo effect is taking place now, because at first my dreams and recall were very vivid, but after a week or two of taking them my recall and vividness seemed to stabilise back to before I was taking them. So possibly, they still work, but with so many other factors to include, such as current pressures at work etc, getting the DJ and MILD techniques inbedded into my pysche, it's difficult to pinpoint if one thing or another helps or hinders the perceived effect of the pills.
