Who else is playing it? I just got sucked in after playing the first Stress Test and "OPEN" Beta. Well anyway, you can always look me up on the Pacific Coast server Gorgonnash. Currently a Lvl 14 Human Warrior. I can make you some nice copper armor at discount prices. I usually hang out around Goldshire.

One of my friends plays that. He's level 34 already. A couple of other people I know play with him and they are all like almost 30 too. Way hardcore.

He told me he got the game right when it was carted out at midnight Tuesday last week. He then when with the other guys to one of their homes and played 40 hours straight!

I too had a friend that plays it. Says he like level 23 playing with 17-19s. He's the tank, he says. Then when they tackle a monster, all they do is heal him, that's what they do. Then he dies, and they go off and take the loot. Sounds pretty funny if you ask me (all he got was a cheap hammer and some other things). :)

My friend's been level capped for two weeks now. He talks to me everyday about it, it's driving me nuts.

MMORPG'S are a beauty and terrible curse. You can get so involved and addicted that eating, speeping, talking to family, working, college all become second to playing the game.

They rule and suck at the same time.

I might get Guild Wars since that has no monthly cost.

Does this game really have a lot of down-time? Because, if I pay for it and I can't play when I want to--that turns me off a bit. :|

It's not down too often. Maybe once a week, and it's usually on a Tuesday morning or afternoon...

Unless you pick a crowded server, in which case I heard crashes once a day.

Well, I downloaded the 10 day trial version yesterday, and I really like it so far. My hubby plays Battlefield all the time, but I'm just not into those war games - I like the Harry Potter-like fantasy games, so both of us downloaded the WoW trial so we could play together and see if we like it enough to buy. A bunch of our friends have started playing it too so we can all be in the same map (or whatever) together.

I'm a nightelf druid and I've already completed a handful of quests in Shadowglen and am level 3 or something. I can see how it could become addicting, but my other computer work and my DV time will always come first, don't worry! It's cool that my hubby and I can play a game that we both like and are interested in.

Now if I could just stop getting lost in the huge maps, I'd be all set! LOL
