I wouldn't be so quick to judge. While I'm skeptical of the actual veracity of what was set out there, none of it seemed unreasonable if true, and more importantly it was kinda believable. It was a pretty interesting read as well, truthful or not.
Please, explain where you cannot find it serious.

Wah? C'mon man. The V5 virus. Desire for blood? Increased strength and speed??? "They will be able to change your moods"? It just sound ridiculous man. He said vampires are secretive when he posted his email on the site. If they are so hungry for blood why don't they just suck it out of used tampons then? Because it's embarassing, they want to preserve that powerful and mystic personality they're creating. People are too obsesed with vampires that they role-played it out in real life. These people are just gothic teenagers thinking they are vampires.

How often do you look at the person that almost bumped (or bumped) into you and think "you idiot, or people are so stupid" because they didn't know that you were only a couple feet away from them, because you always know when someone is that close to you? (Which when you think about it, you only know because you can sense when someone is that close to you).
ALL THE TIME, HWO DO THEY KNOW??! loOzolol
PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID AWLAYS BUMPING INTO ME N SHTI

It's just another way for people to feel special about themselves. It's a mode by which people allow themselves to feel superior without ground. I, for one, hate the vampire fad with a burning passion equivalent to that of a thousand suns.

Wah? C'mon man. The V5 virus.
No idea about the veracity of that, so I'll look it up later. But I believe that traditional vampirism was taken from a heredity disorder, so why not a retrovirus?
Desire for blood?
This bit, admittedly, is the silly bit. You'd digest the blood, it wouldn't go into your own blood.
Increased strength and speed???
Not entirely so silly. You could envision it as the same effects as some amphetamine, speeding up your reaction time. It seems plausible an inherited disorder could do this.
"They will be able to change your moods"?
That just sounds like somebody's in love.
Like attracts like, in friends. When you're on the same wavelength as someone else they'll probably affect your emotions substantially more than someone you don't share much with.
It just sound ridiculous man. He said vampires are secretive when he posted his email on the site.
Not entirely sure what bit you're referring to here. It's a big site.
If they are so hungry for blood why don't they just suck it out of used tampons then?
Freshness?
They want to preserve that powerful and mystic personality they're creating. People are too obsesed with vampires that they role-played it out in real life. These people are just gothic teenagers thinking they are vampires.
If they're maintaining a healthy skepticism about what their identity is then I have no problems with it. This site is overboard but one shouldn't dismiss the people purely on the basis of that; if you've had no proper guidance you might not be able to tell the reasonable from the crazy.
And bear in mind I rather agree with you; they're quite mad.

Yeah man I mean being a vampire sounds cool and all right, but it's hilarous when people try desperately to be something they're not lol

Everybody wants something to define themselves; vampire's okay. I think the mistake they are making is envisioning all these physical characteristics to debate and stew over endlessly, and trying physically to be something they're not, and cannot be. Is it not enough to be connected in spirit? >_<
Incidentally, bear in mind with my first post in this thread I had only read the intro page. A lot of the other stuff is a good deal sillier.

The most damning evidence against this to me is the fact that everyone who is claiming to be a 'real vampire' has a strong interest in the occult and the gothic trend. If this is a real genetic trait then it should effect people regardless of what their interests are, and I can't see how the virus that they describe would make people interested in wearing black, and changing their names to things like "nightpoe"
Also, the only reference to the virus that he talks about are on sites that refer back to the one in the OP.

But if you didn't have an interest in the occult to some degree, how could you claim it? You wouldn't recognise any symptoms, and you certainly thus wouldn't claim you're a vampire. One would pass it off as regular human variation, so there's potential to be plenty of unidentified ones out there.

Me too. It seems that because of things like Twilight, it's every teenage girl's dream to get snogged endlessly by a dashing asshole with a dark, mysterious nature and abnormally long canines.
Hey, remember when Béla Lugosi's rendition of Dracula had all the ladies swooning? I sure don't.

The genuine thirst and need for blood. Seems pretty obvious to me. Your skin doesn't have to sparkle in the sunlight, you know.
You could also be a doctor, an urban myth enthusiast, a historian, a legitimate hemophiliac, or possess a number of other traits that could lead to the interest in vampires. One doesn't need to be an alien enthusiast or physics buff to find the concept of saucer-shaped air/spacecraft fascinating.

My good sir, do not presume you know my opinions. I just like playing devil's advocate; I don't believe these people are vampires. They're on the internet for one.

I don't think real vampires would drink blood if they needed it. It would simply get digested. It would manifest itself as a need for iron, or something like that; something to make up for the blood shortfall.
This however doesn't seem to be what the site says. =P

There are, good Mark, the slayers. But do not fear, I am a slayer exterminator, and vampires will be safe once more.

Check out this gem from the "how to get blood" page:
Virgin Blood Oh God yes people. The legends are true, comparing this blood to any other kind of human blood is like comparing sirloin steak to hamburger. This is its own category, if your lucky enough find a willing donor that is of legal age of consent. Let her/him stay a virgin for as long as they want, actualy even if your dating them try to get them to remain a virgin for as long as possible.

Being a werewolf, I kill any vampires I come across. Can't stand the little bloodsuckers. Not enough damn hair. Always smell of day-old blood and bad cologne, never go outside.
Before you ask, no, I don't look like the Wolfman. It's really quite inconvenient, turning into a huge damn wolf with only a moment's notice. It's not at all like the books make you believe; all that full moon bullshit only applies for the first turn. After that, it's more like a cross between the Hulk and bad allergies.

You should watch the south park episode where the goth kids in the school get pissed off that there are vampire kids in the school (wannabee vampires). Funny stuff. Probably not too far off from that website either.

Being a werewolf
Did you get the gene from your mother or father's side of the family? It skipped a generation on my father's side, and I can't tell you how horror stricken he appeared the first time he saw me turn. I have to say, though, the North African werewolf gene grants some remarkable advantages when it comes to being agile, and the shorter hair is welcome too. I suppose thousands of years of hot weather did that last trick.
