Issue with breathing while entering image

Not sure what stage this is called but ill try to explain it the best way i can .
just before i fall asleep ill see an image crystal clear as if my eyes were open and for a split second it feels like i have a rope tied to my body and get a really hard tug into the image but while i get launched but as soon as i get launched im not breathing and it disconnects . its really annoying this happens literally everynight , this only happens when i first initially go to bed , not wtbtb.

How can i prevent the not breathing?

I see H.I , if i concentrate on the image it feels like i am pulled really hard into the image ( as if you had a rope tied to your body and space shuttle took off ) , the process of me getting pulled into the HI im always holding my breath and my body breaks the pull as i start to think of my body and freak because i cant breath. I dont know how to stop myself to not hold my breath its like a big gasp.
