View Full Version : I met someone who seemed concerned with me knowing I'm dreaming

I had what seemed like two dreams, one, where I found myself (after a long plot unfolding before this) once again a top a huge metal structure flying in the air. This danger altered me I was dreaming and I guessed I'd receive no harm, but it didn't really click to me. The metal hit the ground and I was still on top of it and felt no pain,(it's kinda of hard to explain what the metal structure was, something you might see on the boom of a large crane.) but suddenly I was dreaming again in a small hotel room-like place, where a bed and a dresser formed a small area to walk in. There was a person there I named Oswald after the penguin from batman, cause that's what he reminded me of, though I did not see or hear him, I only got a concept of his presence and him seeming in some kind of rush, to tell me I'm dreaming, as if there's work to be done.

This character seemed somehow significant in a way I can't quite put my finger on... I don't think I've ever seen him before, though I had the strange feeling I might see him again. Has anyone experienced anything like that? Or might have any theories to what his significance may be? or is that something only I can determine

Cool dream experience. I also have either felt there is work to be done in LDs or had DCs try to rush me toward this end.

It is possible Oswald could turn out to be a dream guide. If he keeps showing up and helping you with lucidity, then he is.

Hmmm penguin like character keeps popping up you should not follow it. from experience, they only want cigarettes and granola.

i have also been in touch with a figure/being that i thought had more relevance. and let's face it, it's YOUR brain creating the dreams so if you think there is more to it, there probably is.

good luck finding him/her again.

That's the first thing I thought of too!

xD. And, I agree. I kinda feel like, if he's there, then in a way I wanted him there.

Although something I found interesting... if before this dream I had actually thought about a dream guide, I never would have pictured a character like Oswald, I would probably have fantasized some dreamy way-off version of myself with.. drifting body move ments, looking of into space all the time and saying profound things in a calm relaxing voice. O_o
Strange how the subconscious manafests these things, isn't it?

I say, go for it. It's dreams like these that keep the interest alive.
