Ok so I want to do DR with a notebook with a pen/paper as I have heard that is the best way to remember them. My question is: is there a best place to put the notebook that is hidden?
I know this is very vague, but if I am going to write about what actually happened during the dream, I cant have my parents/sister seeing it ;). But I have heard that if you dont have to get up, your recall is much better, so I cant think of a place to put it near my bed. I just have a small night stand next to my bed, by the way.
Thanks!

Lol thanks. That actually helped a ton.
In your pillowcase, under the bed, between the bed and the wall, between the mattresses. You don't need anything extravagant. I just tuck it under my bed so it's out of the way. Of course, my family knows I lucid dream. Before they did, I put a disclaimer page in the journal, so that they'd see that first. The page explained a bit about lucid dreaming, and what they'd find in the contents of the journal.
