I have been doing a dream journal for quite a while now. The problem is there aren't as many entrees as there should be. The reason being my lack of motivation in the middle of the night.
I wake up in the middle of the night right after a dream. I know I should write it down, but I am way too tired to do so. Because then I have to get out of bed, turn on the light, grab the journal and pen, then start writing. I love sleeping so much, I would rather go back to sleep. I tell myself I'll remember in the morning, and write them down then, but that never happens, because I forget.
Then when I actually do write down my dreams It's really difficult! I'm really tired, and my eyes are hardly open (especially my left eye) and I half assedly write. Then of course I can't even read what I wrote later because I wrote it so sloppy.
Does anyone else feel this way or have a way to fix this problem?
Also, I have a question about writing them down. Am I supposed to write down EVERY LITTLE DETAIL, like I'm writing a novel, or just the basic of what happened?
