i was having some Ramen soup(which i rarely have, but i wanted some change in what i eat). So i picked it up. Got it nice and hot. I open it mix it up and before i take a bite i see something black in it. I investigate further and it looks like a larva/baby bug that was burnt on the top(hence the black). It was obviously dead from either being nuked in my micro or being inside that cup for so damn long. that made my day :?

Kinda puts the expression "Waiter, there's a fly in my soup"

well anyway bye

You should take a picture of it and save both the original and the picture, draw up some cheap legal documents and threaten Ramen Noodles with a law suit for emotional damages and chances are they'll give you at least a case of em for free.

why would you want a free case if you found burnt bugs in your noodles?

:?

That happens all of time, with almost anything you eat. Bugs or rats or whatever gets into all kind of food. Just have to hope your lucky or that you never notice it, because if you don't notice it, it wont hurt you any. Its just kind of gross if you see it. Chances are it wouldn't be the first bug you ate in your life without knowing.

Any of you like ketchup? In the process that its made they use the nastiest most rotten tomatoes (the good ones are sold on the market as produce) and stew em up without taking out the bad stuff which includes quite a few worms maggots and other buggies and their larvae. Like ketchup now?

Yeah I know what you mean. Whenever I see a sort irregular black blob in my food I try and avoid eating it in case it is nasty. I hate foreign objects in my food.

*shrug* sucks if you notice it.
But really. If you dont, it doesnt matter at all. Its just an idea that its so gross, i doubt it would be extremely unhealthy.

Wow you came so close to ruining the only food I eat during the summer when I'm too lazy to make anything else...well one little bug can't hurt, right?

Are you sure it wasn't one of those little shrimps that they sometimes have in there?

But hey you only paid forty cents or so for the meal, what did you expect?

when I first read the title of this thread my heart stopped for a second. Just the thought that there could be something wrong with that delicious, easy to cook, heavenly meal is enough to drive one into lesbianism! Anyway, a little bug in one of it's millions of produced units will not stop me from consuming this about 5 times a week(along with mac and cheese, except mac and cheese take more effort)

...i need sleep. Seriously...lot of it too

I found one in ramen after eating half of it. Of course I drumped it out. It was a little white maggot. I ate some ramen shortly after that. Like someone said, what you don't know can't hurt you. Eating bugs won't hurt you anyways... They are food just like anything else. The other other white meat.

So THAT'S what happened to you!

Anyway, hell yeah, Ramen noodles are good, unhealthy, cheap, and come with free bugs. So why the fuck is everybody complaining?
