how do you do that? do you scan onto the computer or do you use those tablets and stuff? -- i really wish i could put some of my stuff up but i dont know how to post while keeping quality good.

My stuff is just scanned pictures, I know Lost soul does pencil drawings and then scans them into the puter and uses photoshop to do the coloring and touch up, she just got a waycom tablet too which i think she has been playing with =) She can tell you all the details as to what resolutions to use and stuffs =)

If you want to put up smaller, more manageable files without sacrificing the quality (or physical sizing) of your work, you should try to optimize it as best as you can. Photoshop has this nice little option called "Save for Web", which takes your picture and makes the file smaller. From there, you can adjust the file size to your liking. I find that saving a file at 50 or 60% doesn't actually affect the quality at all, even for things as detailed as photographs. All it does is get rid of any colors that arean't used and such. I optimize all of my artwork before upload. It saves load time and webspace.

If you don't have Photoshop, I'm sure there are other ways to get the same results. Just peek around the internet and see what you can come up with. :)

haha, i was thinking more like... taking a picture of my work... i dont have a scanner, or photoshop. and i'm kind of lacking in the funds department... stupid car needs a paint job...
