Isn't it some kind of rodent? I always think of ferret's and chincillas as similar...or maybe guinea pigs or hampsters? Are they rodents?

OMG You guys are cracking me up. I love Chinchillas, I used to have one for about a year...he was the cutest softest little furry thing. They sort of remind me of a cross between a mouse and a rabbit...they have little mousy ears, sort of like a squirrel tale but not as big and they have the softest fur you will ever touch. Oh yeah, they do tricks for raisons. :D

Yup! That's what a chinchilla is. I have one. His name is Lucky. He's two years old. I didn't know you could get them to do tricks for raisins. :shock: What kind of things can you teach them? Eventually I'll post a picture.... as soon as I stop being so darn lazy. Personally I'm not too surprised most of you guys didn't know what a chinchilla is. At least half of the people I meet don't know either. Does anyone else here have one?
