i just finished watching "The Notebook" and i enjoyed it, all the soap opera drama plus the not too sad ending (which i was expecting, it is written by Nicolas Sparks...). i highly doubt anyone will respond to this, since this is a male dominated forum, but if you want to see a good romantic movie see this movie :thumbup:

I thought The Notebook was a very good movie. Made me feel great for hours after seeing it. The ammount of love that they shared was so intense that it made shockwaves reverberate out of the TV. The devotion that he has to his wife is incredible... "read this and I'll come back to you". And no, I'm not gay either lol. Just a hopeless romantic I guess... but then again, aren't most poets?

My mom guilt-tripped me into watching it "you don't spend enough time with me..."
So we ordered pizza and watched it...we were bawling our eyes out for hours, and I don't normally cry at movies. :
Very good movie though.

Ha ha ha, 'no I’m not gay' comments that is so funny, you don’t have to be gay to watch emotional movies, men that are in touch with their emotional side are very attractive. ha ha ha that is just so funny. :lol:

I hate chick flicks. My roomies just made me watch it. I thought it was really cute though. I got teary eyed at parts...I liked the hot sex scene in the "deleted scenes" haha. Although I have some issues with the directing...of course, I am such a designer now I can't enjoy anything without over-analyzing it. :P

gosh darn it, didn't get to see the special features. but the first sex scene in the movie was quite...er... interesting lol
