i had this dream, it started out with me getting drunk (I dont drink in real life, but doing things against my morals is one of my dreamsigns)...anyway, it was the weirdest thing, cause, ive never been drunk, but i honestly felt drunk the whole time...i love my subconcious sometimes :D ...anyway...most of what i was doing during the dream is pretty fuzzy, but i do remember the important parts...i have this certain pair of drumstick i always drum with (my g/f gave them to me  )...anyway i remember i was walking towards my drumset, and i threw them out, and managed to procure a new pair of drumstick inscribed with this detailed pattern that is on the sheath to one of my katanas...so i started playing drums with these new stick, and some girls came up and started to talk to me about my ex-gf...who also entered the picture shortly thereafter and began talking to me...which is really a bad thing for various reasons (ie i have to avoid her whenever possible when im awake) and i remember i was trying very hard to get away, and she was very pissed, but i dont remember any actual words being said...also, strange thing is, she looked absolutely nothing like she deos normally, but i dun think that matters towards anything...anywho, after i managed to get away from her, for some reason i was suddenly driving (presumably away from her) but the cops were now after me, so i pulled over, and kept thinking i was gonna get caught for drunk driving, then i woke up...any suggestions what this all might mean? it only strikes me as odd, since i usually have dreams about competition or simply releasing bottled up emotions, but this one is simply about me trying to run away from one thing then from another (ie drinking = running away from problems in my mind, then my ex-gf, then the cops)...meh

I think, in general, people need to interpret their dreams for themselves...because no one can fully put themselves in your shoes.
It might be nothing, because your mind was *drunk*, etc.
Someone might be able to offer some better advice, but dont worry about it, just DONT DRINK AND DRIVE, especially around cops...i used to all the time, and it was fun, but dangerous.
Yes I feel emphatic about not being static, and not buying philosophies that are sold to me, at a steal.[/b]

lol, dun worry, like i said i dont really drink while awake...anyway, even though i felt drunk at the time, i dont believe that should really affect that fact that my subconcious was producing it....its not like i weas actually drunk when i went to sleep, and I highly doubt that my brain started producing its own alcohol  .And i know that really you have to interpret your dreams for yourself, but I want to hear what you guys have to say cause Im stuck on this one, and a new perspective/viewpoint often helps me realize something i didnt before...

Running from something usually means procrastination of some kind, or atleast thats what I've read in the past.
I've had the same thing with my ex too. I had a lot of second quessing and dubts in that relationship so I blame my running dream on that. Damn thoughs girls can mess with your mind!

While talking about it with my dad, it turns out the dream I had last night consisted of a lot of memories I had that meshed together.

I think that most of the time, thats all dreams are. Just a bunch of past thoughts or ideas, and your dreams are just elaborations of them.
