I have a way to imrpove our dream journals... could you make it so you can have a poll in there that you can edit, but other people can't vote in it. The purpose of this is so you can record your dreamsigns and add new ones as you dream, and it can all be consolidated into one poll.
Maybe users have some form of mod powers in their own dream journal and there can be a date at the top of each entry.
Also, maybe a button that shows if it was lucid or not?
The first and second one are the most important, I think, anyways.

Also... I was thinking if the dream journal's could make it so PART of the dream journal was private... such as...
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah la la la la la la la la la
And then it could say something like [PRIVATE JOURNAL SECTION] in thie middle.

I think the first idea is pretty clever, that would work. Same for all the ideas, except PRIVATE JOURNAL SECTION. It would be like reading little excerpts without seeing the whole thing. Kinda pointless really.

Well the point of that was that if you have a PART of your dream that you do not want to be public, then you can show the rest but one or two parts aren't there.
But anyways, I don't NEED that or anything, I'll ask Ice when he comes back...

I personally don't see the point of having private journal entries at all. If there's something you don't want people to read, DON'T POST IT ON A WEB SITE! Even if it's not public, you've put it on somebody else's computer -- the potential is fairly high for somebody else to see it at some point.
If you are really intent on journaling everything that happens in your dreams, and you don't want others to read about some of it, then keep a private journal on your own computer, or in a notebook.
Just my $.02.

It's also stored in plaintext. Sure you're free to use it if you want, but I will not be using Dreamviews to store my private dreams like that.

Plaintext?
What do you mean by that?

What it means is when you make it a private journal entry, it isn't encrypted in any way shape or form. that is, it gets stored in the database as it is. If you just remove the peice of code that says "PRIVATE JOURNAL ENTRY" and make it display the entry, it'll appear. Simple as that.
