So i keep a dry erase board right next to my bed. Often i dont ever have to turn on a light to jot dreams down, its nice, sometimes very scribbly when I wake up.

But ive realized now, that the past bunch of dreams ive written dowen, i dont even have to look at what i wrote, insofar as that the ACT of writing down my dreams helps me remember them more than the writing itself.

I just thought that this was interesting.

For some people writing things down helps remembering and learning (kinestetic people). Some people learn if they hear things (auditive) and some people need pictures and other visualisation (visual).

i'm not sure about other people but i find that my mind is always jumping all over the place, and writing down my dreams is the only way i can remember them longer than five minutes. since starting to use a dream journal i've realised how much it helps me to collect and organize my thought though, and now it's a very important tool in my life.
