Enter a URL and this thing generates a plant based on text, colors, links, etc. from that website. Flash and CSS sites don't generate anything very interesting, but it's kinda neat to play with.

Wow, that's really awesome. I mean, you can sort of sense the "OK I'm bored I think I'll create a random flash animation thingie" aura, but still...

What? Hey, nobody creates these things with a solid, clear purpose. It's just a whimsical...whim, more like.

Anyway, most of the sites I tried grew black and grey foliage, it was kinda disturbing.

This is neat.

I found www.newgrounds.com to make a real interesting plant.. and a fly? Definitly try this one..

Also, http://web.sfn.org (Society for Neuroscience) makes a cool and tall looking plant. XE.com makes the tallest plant.. going off screen (that I've tried). And maddox.xmission.com makes neat little plant.. I had to try Maddox.
