(oddly, it hadn't occured to me how much the first one i made looks a lot like a creepy John Lennon... spooky!)

Just a quick demonstration, how easy it is to do this sort of thing...
if you want to make your own "mysterious dream characters"

you can do so here: http://flashface.ctapt.de/
You can make some pretty hilarious faces here!

No problem. We all get angry or frustrated sometimes!

Ever dream this man?

I don't know if any of you have read this, or heard it from somewhere (I heard it on Coast to Coast), and I apologize if it was posted before.

But basically, "this man" (his name, I suppose) has appeared in hundreds or thousands of people's dreams worldwide. Which is interesting to me. I personally have not dreamed of him, not even after seeing his picture, but have any of you seen him in your dreams? If so, what did he do, if anything?

There is already a thread about this in BD, if you don't mind, I'm going to merge this thread with it.

Wow, thanks for the info SE. That's pretty disturbing--reminds me of Futurama (anyone see that episode where they had advertisements in their dreams?).

Just goes to show that marketing weasels have no shame or sense of human decency.

Ok, when I opened the page I literally said Oh my God!, freaked out and closed the page.

It took me a good ten minutes to get the gumption to open it again and face the fear of the creepy as heck face.

Lol, he's supposed to be a really nice man in your dreams but everyone's saying he's creepy. Also what are they advertising?

c'mon people, read the thread!
This entire thing is a marketing scam, we've already established that.

But here's my original post, for those of you too lazy to read the thread:

That website is owned by a marketing company.
It would appear to be some kind of viral marketing attempt.

The company is: http://www.guerrigliamarketing.it/

It's pretty clear that they specialise in grass roots viral marketing.

Unfortunatly as we all know, dreams are highly open to suggestion, so these guys are really being a bit underhand and fucking with people. It's not a cool thing to do IMHO.

I expect at some point in the future, if this takes off like they intend... the reveal of the product they are trying to push will become apparent.

My advice, don't spread the word for this site, this sort of thing is underhand and takes advantage of peoples trust.

Basically, they are trying to ADVERTISE TO YOU IN YOUR DREAMS.
Do we want that kind of shit? of course we don't, it makes a mockery of dreaming, and is an insult to us.

And remember, each time you click on the link to that site, the marketing company get more hits, which is exactly what they want.
Which will just inspire them to do this kind of thing more.
Boycott them, it's pathetic and underhand.

Don't blame him. The amount of people that ignore all the relevant advice and focus on the trash that people post is outrageous.

No, I'm just shocked that people will comment on a thread without getting even a basic grasp of what has already been discussed.
Loaf summed it up perfectly.

I reshaped him in Photoshop a little bit and threw some more hair on his head.
