      Teleportation

Hey everyone, I am looking for easy ways to teleport. These TOTYs require a lot of travel. Any ideas?

I have teleported a few times. Once, a long time ago, I used a vortex to get into space but I can't remember what I did exactly. In September I used a capsule like device and made it to my destination but I worked like hell to find it.

This morning I tried "tearing" a hole in the dream world but nothing would happen so I tried using a random truck as a Delorian but I woke up too soon. A few nights ago I entered a mirror but ended back in bed.

I guess I am looking for a quick method that doesn't take a lot of time. Is it just a visualization/focus thing? Perhaps it would be easier to incubate? I think focused visualization and incubation is something I am weak at but I am getting better.

Look for a door, think of the place you want to be, open door.

I teleport naturally through DEILDs and try to change my dream scene.

•walk through a wall or mirror or door
•close your eyes and reopen them
•wear magic goggles that make you see a different scene
•fly up, then come down into a different scene
•sink into the ground and pop up somewhere else
•simply turn around into a different scene

These are just some ideas. Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

People always have such a difficult method of teleportation. I have always find mine much more straight forward. Just simply imagine what you would see if you were 'in that spot'. It does not have to be specifics. Let your imagination/sub-conscious fill in the rest.

Teleportation for me simply involves closing my eyes, conjuring a solid visual image of where I want to go, and then taking a step with my eyes still closed. The stepping part being the actual teleportation mechanic.

I've tried other methods that work almost as well, but I like this method because I find that if I whiff the teleport - that is, mess it up - it usually doesn't destabilize me too much and I can maintain and restabilize the dream if I focus.

Wow. That some great suggestions everyone. I don't know how I missed my notifications on this but thanks all.

I guess it just comes down to visualization. I particularly like ccrinbama's and fOrceez's ideas. I think destabilizing would be a huge issue for me on most of these. I'll just start with closing my eyes and visualizing. Maybe after some success I will try one of these other ideas. I think I try to force things too much with brute force when I just need to slow down and gently let it happen.

I just teleported first time after reading a method in OBE book.

Kinda keep your feet where you are, lift your arms above you (as Superman when he flies) and stretch to your destination. If you not sure where your destination is, slowly make a 360 degree turn and "feel" where the place is to which you want to go to. Then stretch out and go. Kinda like a slinky.

That seems pretty good, gab. I was not successful last night. Maybe I will try this one if I can remember it. I think I give up too easily. I will try to be more persistent.

I do not see any difference between teleporting and rotating to change the setting where the dream is taking place. For me is the same.

It's just good to have more options. Not every method works for everybody, or you can have your favorite one. And rotating can sometimes wake you up, so some people opt not to use it.
