      Really Weird LD nightmares

      Hey,

So today I had my worse kind of LD nightmare. It started out at the mall. I somehow realized I was dreaming and started flying around and doing some really crazy stuff at the mall(fliping, tricks and stuff). But in few seconds I woke up back at my friends car and thought I was dreaming about that. We crashed and I jumped into next dream. Same friends but now I was hallucinating and had no balance over my body. I thought I'm triping some sort of LSD/shrooms. I was so confused and my dream kept changing every minute. I found myself in really different situations which in most I felt like really drunk or extremely hallucinating from some kind of drugs. I was tottering around every dream I was in. At one point I realized I'm dreaming, I somehow got back to the first dream where it all started(at the mall). I was kinda happy and excited about it. So I tried to fly out of the mall but I couldn't. I had no power over gravity. I was flying around the mall but I couldn't make it through the walls. Next up I was trapped again in hallucinations, tottering and no gravity. Again my dreams where changing every minute, but now I knew I'm only dreaming. Every time I thought I woke up, I was trapped in new dream. I lost the hallucinations but I had no gravity. Something was pulling me in random directions. I tried to woke myself up but I ended up waking yet again in new dream but no in my bed... I woke up in my bed for a second(still in dream) and boom back to the craziness. Finally near the end I tried to turn on the lights and stand up from my bed but I couldn't. I was paralyzed and couldn't move. So I used all my power to move and I was on the ground next to my bed. I tried to wake up and again I woke up in my own bed. Then I tried to scream for my mother as loud as I could but my felt like someone is muting my voice. At some point I wasn't able to yell, second after I was. So my mother ran into my room but the second he stepped into my room I knew I'm still in a dream. He ran to my bed and took my hands asking me if I'm okay. This for some reason scared me and I finally woke up into reality. I was sweating all over my body, I felt like I peed myself. This is I think third time this happened to me. I've never had nightmares before I moved into my new place about a year ago.

Btw while all this happened I was in about 15 different dreams. I jumped around a lot of them. It was like the movie Inception. I woke up to dream I was already in from an other dream about 4 times.

I'm not really looking for any help. Just wanna know your opinions on this. I've read a lot about these kinds of trapped nightmares by now and next time I know what to do. I will beat the shit out of the nightmare and show him I'm not scared because it isn't reality. Or in case I still can't control it, I will blink my eyes or bite my tongue.

/Edit: I have a question. When I happen to see this kind of nightmare again, being rly fcked up on drugs/alcohol as I feel, how can I get my sanity back and stop tripping so hard? It's kinda the best timing for LD because I wont wake up that easy but even if I think I'm not scared of anything and it's just a dream, I still don't understand how it will stop my trip? Has anyone experience that kind of dream? Whole world is spinning and I can't walk or think straight.

Intersting dream, I like lucid dreaming it's your own world a place for your head. However I am no fan for False awakenings I hate having them because I get so confused on what's real and what's not anymore. Usually in my dreams everything looks real as if it's real life so after restart after restart it gets so confusing and just messed up. I wonder if there's a way to stop having false awakenings.

My last LD I have exprience one of your sensations like being drunk. I couldn't walk properly at all I felt exetremely dizzy, I felt like I was swaying from both sides when standing up exactly like if you keep spinning around and around that's the strange feeling I had only it felt more vibrate and intense.

Prehaps before you fell alseep you had a really bad headache and when you enter the dream you enter that headache. That's the first thing that comes to my mind on how a dream can be that confusing.

I think I was sleeping in really uncomfortable position and that's why I started getting those bad thoughts in my dream. Also I was sweating a lot. You just have to think about not waking up instead and take it as a cool experience and expect awesome stuff to happen. I was in panic and that's why I lost control of my dream. Only thanks to this forum I've learned a lot about dream control and expectations. Google O'mighty lead me here.

I think a lot of it could have to do with being able to control the focus. It's like.. When ur in a lucid dream. You have a million points of dreams and scenes where you can be sucked in if you let your focus wander. So (sub)consciously you go from place to place wherever you only remotely place ur attention. I had the same kind of chaotic dreamscenes. must have been about the same amount of dreams that you had tonight. I think it might have to do with full moon or the blood moon. There's just a lot of energy in this timeperiod. And so the dreaming brain is extremely busy. I think you can tell if those dreams are ur subconscious focus-points if you analyze them and see if they have resemblance to something you personally are interested in.

And.. as someone who trips kind of regularly. The thing about taking hallucinogens like shrooms is that you can not cancel the trip. The best thing to do to get rid of the disorienting effect of these drugs is to cultivate a stable mind. A stable mind is able to enjoy the effects and even experiment with it. So that's my advice to you. Exercises like meditation, mindfulness and simply lucid living. More of that, and less influence from outside. Like.. The next time something or someone draws your attention. Think about if you want to give it attention first before engaging. This results in a control of the trip as opposed to the trip controlling you. Ultimately.
