Easy, create pocket worlds within your room and then go in. You are technically not leaving your house, so it should work. |

99% of my lucid dreams take place in my house. For some reason most of the time when I try to leave the house to travel or explore, the dream quickly destabilizes and ends. It hasn't always happened, but that's how it seems to go most of the time. How can I prevent that from happening? |

I have a similar issue. Sometimes I become aware I am dreaming, but I am in a scary, sometimes dark dreamscape that I am too afraid to explore. Like last night, I was in a car and it was night, I became aware I was dreaming but decided not to explore because I couldn't change the scene. |

This is really excellent advice--especially asking the dream why it won't let you leave. We are lucky to have some master dreamers on these forums! |

How many lucids have you had? In the beginning they tend to be very short, but as you get more used to the lucid state and don't get so excited anymore they become longer. Sorry if you're already aware of this, I have no idea how experienced you are. |
