New way of teleporting - Might work?

So, I've been thinking about ways to teleport. And I come to think about Hot Tub Time Machine, if you've seen that movie you know what it is. Do you think this would work or is it just stupid when you can just spin around instead?

Anything is possible including your hot tub time machine. But IMO the more conceivable the method is, the better the chance you can convince yourself it will work. I actually dont teleport, I use a rocket sled ( i turn around and expect it to be there) and get to most anywhere in a matter of a few seconds. For me this is more plausible than a star trek type teleporter, but if you could make it work more power to you.

It would probably work but is it not more convenient to open a door like in BioShock Infinite or The Adjustment Bureau?

It would totally work; you'd just have to summon up the time machine before you could teleport.

Personally, I prefer to keep my dream control methods as simple as possible. The fewer steps I have to go through, the fewer things that are likely to distract me away from my goal. But for you? Whatever works!
