The idea is to associate your dream signs with dreaming so that when you notice a dream sign, you will be reminded that you are dreaming.
Tell yourself next time you notice one of your dream signs, you will know it is a dream.
Each time you wake up and recall a dream in which a dream sign shows up, reimagine the dream only with you becoming lucid upon noticing the dream sign. Tell yourself that this will happen next time you notice this dream sign in a dream, you will know it is a dream. Do this exercise with any past or future dreams in which dream signs appear.
