old man growing young...young child growing old?

sooo the read me first thread said to say some stuff about yourself...so...ya. Im 18, a guy..pretty average person i guess? That probably won't help much.

Anyways my dream, I came home after school to take a nap when I had it.

So a very young child and his grandfather (i think, thats who it felt like) were walking down a wide path (in a park?..im not sure there were trees on both sides of it) and as they're walking, the old man starts growing younger, as the child starts growing older. although neither takes any notice of it, and they just keep walking. until finally they've passed the point where they've reversed ages, and the old man is now basically an infant and the child is now an extremely old man. The child (who is now an old man) turns to the old man (who is now a child) and says "i understand now"
well actually it was either "i understand now" or "i understand" im not totally sure which. after he says that, they keep aging, the old man (originally the child) dies of old age, while the child (originally an old man) becomes unborn. i dont really know how he became unborn..there was just kind of a flash of light or something and he was gone. they both stopped existing at the same time. and then i woke up

i felt kind of weird when i woke up too...kind of sad and almost nostalgic when im thinking about it now. its weird because its one of the most vivid dreams ive had in a while, and ive never had a dream that has stuck in my head for more than one day.
any ideas if it means anything?

It means you have been blessed with a new spiritual awareness of life and time, and its passing and evolving. Life is full of cycles that circle back around. At a very young age you are realizing this. Have you recently become aware that you could be placed in a more responsible role and someone else in your life will decrease in their responsibilities?

Your mind was considering the father-son relationship. The grandfather wasn't actually a grandfather, it was someone very old to represent a father figure. The fact a son grows older and the father younger shows the inverse power levels that occur as in real life when a child grows and an old man gets older. Your subconscious tried to reconcile the fact that older is not supposed to make you weaker, but stronger as a father figure in authority. The child 'understood now' the loss of power of the father in all respects in correlation to his own growing. The fact that they both died shows the brains desire toward - not death, but complete absence. This uncommunicable explanation for life moved you.

I feel this could be a rebirth for you that your going back to who you where when you where a child. Then build on top of that to become stronger. It is definatley a good thing because when we are child it seems that we are a lot happier. Also their are good things as an adult for instance being strong, Independence and accepting responsibility. So pretty much your gonna transform into beautiful butterfly. If that makes sense to you?
