      packing dream

I have a reoccuring dream of packing everything I own in a hurry to drive a long distance away. I'm worried about getting things from one place to another. Most of the items are meaningless and not mine. Another version is moving back into a house I previousely lived in and reolizeing I never moved half the stuff out in the first place. Thanks for any insight I have the dream once every couple months.

I'm going to shoot at the obvious with this one. You have connections to the past and the present is not quite what you hoped it would be. The stuff you have is not meaningful, I.e. your current life is not completely satisfying. You have left some important things in the old house. Perhaps there are regrets or unresolved issues or maybe just the best times of your life. Spend a little time thinking about the past and see if maybe you can't bring some of that stuff up to date and clean out the attic a little if need be. I would almost say that you do not feel there is a smuch love in your life as there once was or, another alternative would be that the past has robbed you of a meaningful present. of course the key to your future is listening carefully to what you keep trying to tell yourself.

      Regards,

Very insightful! I dont typically buy people's interpretations, but yours sounds right on for me. Most my dreams take place in buffalo where I usto live. My parents moved me to Florida senior year of highschool. I had best friends and a boyfriend. I still feel unresolved issues of leaving...And I hate Florida weather! Now I'm married and my husband has a really good job here, so no chance of me leaveing now. I hate feeling stuck on the past, I wish I could let go.

      Great!

I'm glad that helps. Have you been back to Buffalo since? Maybe seen the old house, the old best friend, the old boyfriend?

I know we moved back to my hometown about three years ago and expect to be here at least another year while I'm in school, but this has been one of those challenging times of my life. Good and bad alot of thing shave been going on (well they do anywhere) but alot of things have been stirred up in me and old wounds heal, old decisions resolved, new directions laid.

I think that is about all I have to say here, but I hope you stick around. you should try chat sometime. BTW I never liked Florida weather either, always muggy and it rained every day at 5PM (I was in Orlando).

      Best Regards,

      EJ

      Mortality Dreams. Karma issue Dreams.

Your Higher Self is trying to point out to you that you have far too many attachments. Stuff you don't need. Stuff that isn't even yours.

Your dreams here are the Flip Side of the Lost Item Dream, where one is obsessed with finding something that one just lost.

The proper response is to walk away from all that stuff. What truly belongs to you is impossible to alienate.

This is the interpretation I gave myself. I figured I'm too attached to material pocessions, and where I live. I Feel things would always be better somewhere else.

If one is conscious of being happy enough with his present surroundings, then there is no reason to move. Every area has its advantages.

Anyway, I am glad to see that you are already familiar with the Doctrines of Karma. It must be reaffirming to find that both you and your Subconscious Mind share the same Belief Systems.

I'm actually not that farmiliar. Well I know the basic idea, but I had to look up karmic dreams. I Guess this is a popular dream.
I just wonder what baggage I'm carring for me to always feel sad. I read that sadness with no reason is transfered from one life to the next. Is it the sadness I caused someone else, or the sadness I experienced?
I prayed for guidance last night, and had dreams about feeling ugly and unwanted by men. Maybe I was an abusive husband in a past life? Or a womanizer.
      What do you Think?
