I haven't had a dream like this ever since I moved about 3 months ago. I used to constantly have similar dreams, it started around the time I was 17 or 18. I'm 23 now. They all contain elements of sleep paralysis. Anyway, here's one I had about a year ago:
It's happening again, and I know there's a pattern, but I can't find it.
this force seems to grow stronger and stronger through each battle.
As do I.
I "wake up" in my bed, try to move. This time it's only nearly impossible. I decide to fight back. I feel the tremendous pressure as I attempt to rise out of my bed. I was eventually vertical- though I was struggling to stay that way- standing next to the folded up treadmill next to my bed. This force seems angrier as the buzzing in my ears became louder. That's when it happened.. the arms of the treadmill became hands and pushed me back onto the bed. I may sound crazy but I felt every detail-the fingers pushing my chest, my back hitting the mattress, and my head hitting the sheetrock that lays behind my bed. Not a single detail was missing from my cluttered room.
At this point, I manage to roll over onto my front side, the force pushing on my back. I decide to try and get up once more. I manage to sit up on my feet on the edge of my bed, but I almost immediately am pushed into the pile of blankets and old clothes at the foot of my bed. Now on the ground, I try and crawl towards my door-thinking the light may help something. I reach for the doorknob but it's as if someone was holding it from the other side. I try to yell but nothing comes out. At this point-and as it always does- the fear turned into sheer anger as I jerked, tossed, and turned to break this awful force. The buzzing in my ears at this point is reminiscent of a swarm of wasps. Finally my eyes open. Here I am, underneath the blanket...in my bed... on my back...as always.
